How the enforcement works

Regular patrols

Our staff are on your site

What every patrol checks for:

  • On private land with no barrier
  • Staying beyond the maximum time
  • Parking disc missing
  • Parking in disabled bays
  • Parking outside the marked bays
  • Parking in loading areas
  • Blocking fire service access
  • Blocking entrances and exits

Park Pilot carries out these patrols on a regular schedule

Four moments from a patrol: the car park from above, a vehicle being recorded, a notice on a windscreen, a parking ticket

How a patrol runs

  • A walk of the site, recording every vehicle parked unlawfully
  • Checking where a parking disc is required
  • Checking where a ticket is required
  • Photographic evidence of the breach
  • More places to park means more takings
  • The start and end of each patrol are logged

Our own signage

Our own parking signage system

With no sign there is no rule for anybody to break. We hold a broad range of parking signage and put it up on your site where it can be seen - considered, clearly laid out and legible.

  • Our own signs, put up at no cost to you
  • Structured, and legible from a distance
  • Considered: every sign says who may park there
Blue parking sign reading “Nur für Kunden mit Parkscheibe, max. 1 Std.” - customers with a parking disc only, one hour maximum
Customer bay, parking disc, one hour maximum
Blue parking sign reading “Behindertenparkplatz” with the wheelchair symbol - a disabled parking bay
Disabled bay, kept free for permit holders
Blue parking sign reading “Nur für Mitarbeiter” - staff only
Staff bay, for your people only
Underground and multi-storey

Underground and multi-storey car parks, under control

An enclosed car park is where all-day parkers are least visible and cost the most. We watch underground and multi-storey car parks exactly as we watch an open surface - the same round, logged the same way.

  • Every level checked, not just the entrance
  • Tenant and visitor bays kept properly apart
  • Escape routes and fire lanes kept clear
  • Signage that suits low ceilings and tight ramps
